ATTENTION! NEW NAMES OF CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH EXAMS
We would like to inform you that Cambridge Assessment English have introduced new names for language exams. This is due to the greater clarity of the CEFR language levels (A1-C2) that have been incorporated into the exam names, e.g.: the FCE exam is now officially called B2 FIRST. The old names have been dropped, but this does not change the content of the exam. More information can be found at https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/exams-and-tests/qualifications/new-exam-names/
POPULAR
More than 7 million people around the world take Cambridge English exams every year in more than 130 countries.
FOR EVERYONE
They are available for all ages, mapping the full range of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) levels from A1 to C2, and testing general language as well as the language of business and other professions. They cover all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - and assess candidates' ability to apply language in authentic life situations. By successfully passing the exams and obtaining an internationally recognised certificate, you will receive full proof of your language level with indefinite validity, opening up your future in education, work and everyday life.
REPLACE YOUR PROFILE MATURITA EXAM!
ATTENTION! From 1 September 2015, the possibility of replacing the profile part of the final examination from the English language with Cambridge English certificates at the B1 level or higher applies in the Czech Republic!
According to Section 81, paragraph 6 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., the following applies: "If three compulsory examinations are held in the profile part of the matriculation examination, the school director may determine that, under the conditions laid down in the implementing legislation, one compulsory examination held in a foreign language may be replaced by the result of a successfully passed standardised examination in that foreign language, documented by a language certificate. The same may be laid down by the Director, under the conditions laid down in the implementing legislation, for one optional examination of the profile part of the matriculation examination. "Cambridge English examinations at level B1 or above are, of course, included in this list!
