  • Timetable of the test

Is the whole exam in one day?
Due to the time demands of the examination, the oral part of the examination is usually held on a different day from the written part of the examination. The date of the written part is fixed. The date of the oral part is determined by the examination centre. For specific dates, please refer to the Dates and Prices section.

How do I find out exactly when and where the test takes place?
Approximately 1 week before the exam, you will receive an automatically generated email from cambridgeenglishonline.org with an invitation to take the exam and a "CoE" attachment containing a detailed exam timetable, venue and other important information regarding the exam.
Upon receipt of this email, please check the correctness of your name and date of birth and contact us immediately at asistentka@zkouskypark.cz if there are any discrepancies. If you do not receive this email by the deadline, please contact us immediately.

How far in advance should I come?
It is always necessary to arrive 20 - 30 minutes before the rehearsal. Unfortunately, if you arrive late, you may not be allowed to take the exam. Always find out in advance how much time you will need to travel to the test venue.

Can I go speaking with a friend?
If you wish to be paired with a friend for the oral part of the exam, please inform us of this fact when registering (we reserve the right to change the order of pairs for the oral part of the exam if necessary).

  • Compulsory photography of candidates

Do I have to take a picture?
Photography of candidates takes place on the day of the examination (usually on the day of the oral part of the examination) and is a condition of participation in the examination. However, it only applies to candidates for certain examinations.
Candidates for B2 FIRST (FCE), C1 ADVANCED (CAE), C2 PROFICIENCY (CPE) will be required to have their photos taken.
Does not apply to candidates for YLE, A2 KEY (KET), A2 KEY for Schools (KET for Schools), B1 PRELIMINARY (PET), B1 PRELIMINARY for Schools (PET for Schools) and B2 FIRST for Schools (FCE for Schools).

Where will my photo be published?
The photo will only be stored on the Result Verification Service website and will not be published on the certificate. Furthermore, only those institutions to which the candidate provides access details will have access to these photographs, as well as personal data and results.

For candidates who are minors, their legal guardian will fill in and sign a consent to be photographed (which is part of the email the candidate receives after registration), which will then be sent to asistentka@zkouskypark.cz or delivered in person to the exam centre office.

  • What to bring to the test

What MUST I have with me?

    .

Candidates without a valid identification card will not be allowed to take the exam! Candidates under 15 years of age may carry proof of identification instead of a passport. This document must be filled in by the candidate's legal guardian, who will confirm the candidate's identity by signing it. The document must also contain 2 passport-size photographs (not necessarily the original, a copy will suffice).

Writing utensils are not allowed: eraser pens, erasers, bleach. You are not allowed to take into the exam room: any electronic devices, watches, food, drinks other than water in a transparent plastic bottle. You will keep your personal belongings in a secure area usually outside the exam room.

Candidates may not use any electronic devices even during breaks. Přthe discovery of an electronic device switched on in the test room may lead to disqualification and failure to receive the test result.

Here are some tips for exam day.
We highly recommend that you read the Candidate Alert before the exam.

If you have any comments about the examination, please contact the person in charge of the examination immediately after the examination. Complaints made later than directly after the test can unfortunately no longer be taken into account.
